PURPOSE:To eliminate welded part from a cooling duct and to solve the problem of refrigerant leak through the welded part by a method wherein the cooling duct housed in windings is formed of a fine tube and arranged into a zigzag line. CONSTITUTION:A cooling duct 21 is so manufactured that a long fine tube 20 formed of metal or heat-resistant synthetic resin is arranged into a zigzag line extending in the vertical direction and then bent into the cylindrical form. One end of the fine tube 20 is extended downward to form a refrigerant inlet 22a, while the outer end thereof is extended upward to form a refrigerant outlet 22b. Both refrigerant inlet 22a and outlet 22b of thus arranged cooling duct 21 are connected to introducing pipes adapted to introduce the refrigerant. By so doing, the entire of cooling duct can be formed by the signal fine tube 20, eliminating a need of welding. Thus, it becomes possible to solve the problem of refrigerant leak due to occurrence of corrosion or cracks at the welded part. |
