PURPOSE:To suppress the processing of a succeeding instruction when a storage address exceeds readout/write unit width boundary, by providing a means which detects whether or not the storage address of a preceding storage system instruction exceeds the readout/write unit width boundary. CONSTITUTION:Only bytes corresponding to a mask section of a mask instruction are stored. For example, when M=0101, the 1st and 3rd bytes of a conventional register instructed by the instruction are consecutively stored. The mask section M of the instruction is given to an adder 31, which sums the number of 1s of the mask section M and lower 3-bit data BC of a three-input address adder 3 on a signal line 109 and gives the result of addition to a comparator 32. A set value 8 is given to the other input of the comparator 32. The mask instruction is decoded by a decoder 6, a signal line 112 is ''1'', then the result of comparison of the comparator 32 is outputted 118. |
