The problem addressed by the present invention is to provide an imaging system which includes a lens-interchangeable imaging device that has significantly improved portability and thus can be used freely. To solve the above problem, the imaging system comprising a portable lens-interchangeable imaging device and a remote control device for remotely controlling the imaging device is characterized in that: the imaging device transmits an electrical signal associated with a subject image based on subject light entering through an imaging lens to the remote control device through a communication unit; the remote control device displays the subject image on a display unit on the basis of the electrical signal associated with the subject image received from the imaging device through the communication unit; and only the display unit of the remote control device may be used to verify the subject image, and the imaging device operates in accordance with an operation command entered via the operation unit. |
