PURPOSE:To ensure accurate monitoring for the operation state of the communication system by displaying the time during which no data transfer is not carried out via the idle time timer. CONSTITUTION:The transmission/reception data signal given from monitor line 7 is supplied to receiver 9 via compounder 8. And the bit series signal on the communication circuit is synchronized with a fixed bit unit to be converted to the character of the code, and then displayed on CRT12 via buffer 11 by receiving end signal 10 which is produced with every conversion of one character. The idle time timer 13 is retured to the original state via signal 10, and the character to display the time lapse to buffer 11 is transmitted as the data when no signal 10 is produced while the fixed time is calculated. At the same time, time lapse signal 10'' is transmitted. Then false end signal 10' is supplied to buffer 11 via the logic sum between signal 10 and 10'', and the state of the communication circuit is displayed between data. |
