PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device, wherein a cutting device and an electrostatic recording head are arranged from the rear of the feeding direction toward the front of the feeding direction of recording paper in said suquence, respectively, and the wastage of paper in the roll shaped recording paper can be avoided. CONSTITUTION:The roll shaped recording paper 13 is fed by rollers 14a and 14b and guided to the cutting device 16 through a guide plate 15. The cut recording paper is fed by rollers 19a and 19b through the cutting device 16. The leading edge of the recording paper is detected by a detector 20 and guided between the electrostatic head 21 and a roller 22. The roller 22 is separated from the recording head 21, until the leading edge of the recording paper is detected by the detector 20. Therefore the electrode of the recording head 21 is not damaged by the roller 22. |
