A fuel injection pump of the distributer type comprises two separate cylinder bores 19a, 19b connecting with separate distributer passages 25a, 25b connected to separate axially spaced inlet passages 28a, 28b and outlet passages 26a, 26b. Supply from the feed pump 14 is controlled by a single throttle valve 17. The cams 21a, 21b are provided with pairs of opposite cam lobes and are connected for joint adjustment by a pin 24. The cam lobes may be shaped to relieve pressure in the fuel lines as described in Specification 1, 046, 951.</p> |
