PURPOSE:To improve the leakage resistance by using a cathode can applied with a burring process at its center, by injecting a cathode material and electrolyte through the burring after sealing, and by sealing with a rivet coated with a seal agent. CONSTITUTION:An anode material 2 is inserted into an anode can 1 and a separator 5 is arranged on it. An insulating packing 8 is arranged to a cathode can 30 with a burring section 70a processed for burring after boring at the center, and they are assembled into the anode can 1, the aperture of which is caulked and crimped for sealing. Then, a cathode material 60 and an electrolyte 4 are injected through the burring section 70a, and a rivet 70 coated with a seal agent 80 is inserted by pressure to seal the burring section 70a. Accordingly, sealing can be performed without wetting the boundary between the cathode can 30 and the insulating packing 8, thus the leakage resistance can be remarkably improved. |
