PURPOSE:To realize the line-up winding of a tape and to reduce the thickness of a cassette in order to use a tape having a width smaller than the normal width, by driving the tooth form part of a tape reel having a flange formed tooth forms at its outer circumference at the outside of an opening part of a cassette. CONSTITUTION:The tooth form part of a tape reel 14 having a flange 19 formed tooth forms 20b at its outer circumference is driven by an external driving means through the opening parts 12 and 13 of a cassette. The parts 12 and 13 are set symmetrically in terms of inversion, and as a result a cassette tape is reproduced with inversion by means of the cassette halves 1 and 2 on the sides A and B respectively. It is not required to insert the external driving means to the center of the reel since the reel 14 itself has a rotary shaft. Therefore the winding radius of the tape can be reduced to the reel 14. Furthermore the flange 19 can wind the tape in a line-up state. |
