Adjustment arrangement for a dentist's chair, with a pivotably arranged seat part 5 which is connected to a back rest 10 and to a leg rest 11, designed to permit continuous adjustment of the chair to any desired position ranging from a sitting postion through an intermediate position to a completely flat, horizontal position with the back rest horizontal and the front end of the seat part slightly raised, and with only a drive motor and no release of catches or the like. The adjustment arrangement is characterized in that the seat part, the back rest and the leg rest are each connected via their respective linking brackets 12, 15 and 13 to a drive arrangement 7, 16, 17 for adjusting the chair between the sitting position and the intermediate position and to the horizontal position by continued driving of the drive arrangement, the position of the back rest being fixed by cooperation with an abutment member 19, and its connection 15 to the drive arrangement being able to be extended counter to the spring action. <IMAGE> |
