PURPOSE:To operate a titled device efficiently despite the change in a water level over a wide range by pushing the engaging projection of a float into the butted parts of the elastic plates fitted along both sides of a split groove formed longitudinally on the wall of a hollow cylindrical body and forming outflow openings for outflowing of heating temp. CONSTITUTION:A hollow cylinder 12 is disposed coaxially in a well 1 disposed perpendicularly from above the water surface down into the water, and an electric heater 16 is buried in the lower inside part thereof. A longitudinal split groove is provided on the wall of the cylinder 12, and belt-like rubber plates 13 and 13' are butted and fitted to each other elastically along both sides thereof. An engaging projection 11a of a circular section extending toward the center is provided on the inside circumferential surface of a float 11 which encloses the cylinder 12 and moves vertically. Said projection is inserted into the butted parts of the plates 13 and 13'. Thus outflow openings are formed on the top and bottom of the projection 11a by expanding the butted parts. The outflow openings are formed always in the positions corresponding to the water surface. |
