<p>PURPOSE:To handle a variable density graphic form as an interactive medium with a computer by drawing a graphic form on a tablet with a stylus, and displaying a variable density graphic form corresponding to stroke pressure on the tablet. CONSTITUTION:A tablet 1 is a transmissive screen type thin flat plate, and an image projected on the reverse side is observed without parallax; and position signals (x) and (y) when its top surface is pressed with a stylus 2 are outputted, and the stylus 2 outputs a density signal (x) corresponding to the pressing force. A variable density graphic form on a high density CRT is projected from the reverse side of the tablet 1, so a graphic form drawn with the stylus on the surface of the tablet 1 is displayed as it is with a density corresponding to the stroke pressure. With this stylus 2, a variable density graphic form corresponding to its stroke pressure is projected on the tablet 1 and observed on the front surface of the tablet 1, and addition and correction are carried out with the stylus 2 over a look at the projected graphic form.</p> |
