PURPOSE:To execute pointing and shearing by one process, by shearing a wire rod by a shearing edge sliding in the direction meeting at a right angle with its shaft core, and forming a shear droop at a relative position of a cross-sectional surface of the wire rod. CONSTITUTION:A wire rod M supported by a supporting die 1 is pushed up in the direction (a), and is inserted up to the upper end part of a through-hole 2a of a shearing edge 2 which is reset to a concentric position to an inserted through-hole 1a. Subsequently, the edge 2 is slided in the direction as indicated with an arrow (c), the primary shearing force of the extent of generating no fracture surface is put on the wire rod M, and shear droops MA and MB are formed. After that, the edge 2 is slided in the direction as indicated with an arrow (b), the secondary shearing force is put on the wire rod M, and the shear droops MA and MB are formed on a shearing wire rod SM side, a round part MD and ME are formed on the wire rod M side, and they are sheared along a shearing line MN. Subsequently, the shearing wire rod SM is shifted to the upper part of a discharge pin 3, the pin 3 is ascended, and the wire rod SM is discharged to the outside from the edge 2. |
