Method and apparatus for the automatic control and bending of bicycle frames, where the bicycle frame, which rests on a reference and bearing surface, arranged on adjustable support and clamping devices, is scanned by means of a scanning unit which functions with a magnetic scanning head with permanent contact, magnetic attraction and mechanical thrust, which scanning head is arranged on already finished tube elements and on the bicycle frame, and the device in question represents a transductor between the reference plane and the tube elements of the frame, which transductor transmits signals to an electronic visualiser, these signals representing the position of the frame for the following assistance in bending and regulating by hand or automatically until the zero setting of the reading on the visualiser.
