COUPLING DEVICE OF FLEXIBLE CABLE AND METER

PURPOSE:To make easy a coupling work by configuring a coupling device of a car speedometer and a flexible cable in such a manner as to provide an angular engaging shaft and an angular engaging hole on the end part of a cable side inner shaft and on a stem side rotary shaft respectively and coupling both of them through insertion. CONSTITUTION:When a conical insertion guide part 7c on the tip of a key 7 is inserted into a circular introductory hole 12b of a rotary shaft 9 side tip 12, due to buffing between an unillustrated angular part of the key 7 and an unillustrated engaging step part of the tip 12 side, the rotary shaft 9 slightly rotates so that the key 7 and an engaging hole 9b are adjusted to square with each other. Accordingly, the key 7 is completely engaged into the engaging hole 9b. Subsequently, a coupling appliance 6 is properly locked in a stem 8. Coupling of a flexible cable and a meter may be performed easily due to such a configuration.
