The circuit breaker has upper and lower insulating boxes (1,4). The lower box (1) carries the fixed contacts (3) for the inputs and outputs of the phases and the neutral. A carriage slides longitudinally carrying the moving contacts of the phases and of neutral. The upper box has small windows (6) covered by insulating grilles (7). Fuses can be connected to retaining contacts (9) mounted by fixing devices to the upper box. The fuses are mounted so that the fixed and moving contact remain visible through the small windows. An operating lever (11) is mounted on the front of the upper box and is connected to the contacts on the neutral conductor bar at the left or right edge of the upper box. The upper box (4) is provided with strengthening ribs, and contains screw mountings for the fuse contacts.
