PURPOSE:To visually display a plurality of character format data on a display means, by sequentially reading out the data from a storage means storing the operating state. CONSTITUTION:When operating information is generated on leads 27a-27n, a signal ''0'' is applied to a priority code circuit 25 via a buffer 26 and a code which transmits the character data of the operating information having the highest priority is generated from a character data generating circuit 21 to the next stage circuits. The circuit 21 stores the character data generated at each operating information to character data storage sections CHMEM1-CHMEMn as the combination of specified ''0'' and ''1'' codes. When the character data storage section CHMEM1 is selected with the priority, the 1st-5th character data CH1-CH5 stored in the CHMEM1 are sequentially transmitted to a display element driver 22 for display in synchronizing with a clock signal CLK and a character data frame FCLK given from a timing circuit 24 to the circuit 21. |
