PURPOSE:To prepare the titled carrier for immobilization, having high immobilization capacity and formable to various form, and composed of a reaction product of a copolymer of maleic anhydride and an aromatic vinyl compound, a copolymer of maleic anhydride and an aliphatic vinyl ester, and a polyfunctional compound. CONSTITUTION:(A) 0.5-99.5pts.wt. of a copolymer of maleic anhydride and an aromatic vinyl monomer copolymerizable therewith (e.g. styrene) or an olefin monomer (e.g. ethylene) at a copolymerization ratio of 1:1-1:5, is mixed with (B) 0.5-99.5pts.wt. of a copolymer of maleic anhydride and an aliphatic vinyl ether copolymerizable therewith (e.g. butanedoil vinyl ether) or an aliphatic vinyl ester (e.g., vinyl acetate) at a copolymerization ratio of 1:1-1:5 and (C) 1- 200pts.wt., preferably 20-100pts.wt., based on 100pts.wt. of the sum of the components (A) and (B), of a polyfunctional compound (e.g. PVA, PEG, etc.), and the mixture is formed and heat-treated. |
