Rotatable body, in which a radially outer round rim (3) is bonded by fibre composite material to a radially inner hub (1) around the axis of rotation (Z), characterised by at least one fibre composite material strand (5), which runs essentially in stellate form from the hub (1) to the rim (3). Such a body is distinguished by outstanding absorption of radially acting forces, in particular centrifugal forces, but also - in cases where the body is used as a wheel - of the vertical wheel forces and moments, and consequently a very high strength with at the same time mutual centring of hub and rim. <IMAGE>
