PURPOSE:To receive signals of different horizontal scanning frequencies, without increasing the number of input terminals and cables, by transmitting a signal to be used for auxiliary deflection to display the signal of the standard system after superimposing the signal on a vertical cynchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:A TV signal of the standard system is converted into a signal corresponding to a horizontal scanning frequency n-times the frequency at a signal conversion circuit 3 and the horizontal synchronizing signal is converted into a synchronizing signal having the n-times frequency. A horizontal synchronizing signal HD1' is superimposed on a vertical synchronizing signal VD1' obtained at the circuit 3 at a signal superimposing circuit 8 to obtain a new vertical synchronizing signal VD1''. Signals of the standard system obtained at the circuits 3 and 8 are applied to a switching circuit 6. Signals of the different system are supplied to the circuit 6 and either one of the signals is selected and applied to a display section 7. |
