PURPOSE:To stabilize the regulation of wind direction with a higher performance for retaining the rotation state of vanes by forming shaft sections of the vanes and shaft holes of an external frame in the same oval shape close to a circular in a shape wind direction changer of a ventilator for an air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:Large diameter heads 6 of shaft sections 5 of vanes 4 and recesses in shaft holes 2 of an external frame are formed in the same oval shape close to a circular shape (a). When the angle of the vanes 4 is regulated with a control knob 9, the shaft sections 5 and the large diameter heads 6 are rotated with an increase in the reaction force of a thin hinge 7. The oval large diameter heads 6 rotate in contact with the inner surface of the same oval recesses 3 so that the long diameter of the ellipse will come in contact with the short diameter thereof. Thus, the slide torque exceeds the reaction force of a thin hinge 7 thereby retaining the rotation of the vanes at a certain position and ultimately stabilizing the regulation of the wind direction. |
