PURPOSE:To improve over discharge property and self discharge property of a small sealed lead storage battery by using simultaneously, a glass fiber liquid holder having strong elasticity, and a synthetic resin fiber liquid holder showing comparatively small plastic deformation. CONSTITUTION:A group of plates with 2.0Ah of 10hr rate discharge capacity is formed by sandwitching a liquid containing body between positive electrode 2 and negative electrode 3. A liquid holder of a sandwish form is made up of two outer glass liquid holding bodies of 1/3 thickness, and one inner polypropylene liquid holding. A comparative test was performed after pouring a definite amount of electrolyte into this accumulator. It was found that both the volume recovery rate and the self discharge rate of this invention were superior to the values obtained for the former models. |
