PURPOSE:To obtain accurate and stable data, by measuring the area rate of a segment-defined part from average optical transmission factor of photograph film having high resolution into which a printing plate is photographed. CONSTITUTION:The film 11 is sent to the part between a light source slit 22 and a photosensor group 23 by film feeding rollers 24. The transmitted light from the light source slit 22 is received by the photosensor group 23. Pulses generated by a rotary encoder based on the rotation of the film feeding rollers are counted. When the pulse number, which corresponds to the ink adjusting width of a specified printing press, is counted, a reset signal is outputted. In this method, the area rate of the segment-delined part for every reset signal interval, i.e. for every ink adjusting width of the printing press can be measured. |
