The sail board has a rigid bottom and a rigid deck with one or more longitudinal and/or transverse frame members arranged in the hollow space between them. Each member consists of at least one rigid element connected with bottom or deck and a resilient portion connected with deck or bottom or with another rigid element fixed thereto. Each rigid element may be hollow and filled with foam material. Each member may consist of two trapezium-shaped elements connected via the resilient portion. This portion may be a strip in synthetic rubber. Each hollow element may be formed from a glass fibre reinforced polyester lamination.
