PURPOSE:To minimize the deformation of a flange during welding by providing notches to the flange part in the stage of welding double pipes and the flange thereof airtightly by high energy beams. CONSTITUTION:An outside diameter pipe 1 and an inside diameter pipe 2 are fixed on the concentrical circle, and after some part in the end parts of the pipes 1, 2 are cut, a flange 3 is press fitted thereof. In this time, notches shown in a part Z are provided beforehand to the flange 3. Thereafter, two places A and B are applied with continuous welding over the entire circumference by high energy beams such as electron beam welding. When the notches are provided in such a way, the projecting deformation of the flange 3 is prevented and the rate of deformation thereof is minimized. |
