Two mutually parallel slides (2, 29) having contact points (3, 4, 5, 30, 31, 32), which can interact with mutually opposite moving surfaces of bimetallic strips (17, 18, 19) are assigned to a transmission lever (35) via contact points (60, 60'), at least one of which has an intermediate space (P) as a result of which the device is insensitive to small current fluctuations.
