PURPOSE:To provide a compact zoom lens of high variable powers by moving the 2nd group in only one direction and making the space between the 2nd group and the 3rd group wider in the zooming position at the telephoto end than in the zooming position at the wide angle end satisfying specific conditional equations. CONSTITUTION:This zooming lens has the divergent 1st lens group, the convergent 2nd lens group and the divergent 3rd lens group successively from an object side and performs zooming by the movement of these three lens groups. Said zoom lens is so constituted that the 1st lens group has at least one positive lens on the object side and image plane side, that the 2nd lens group has an aperture stop, at least 3 pieces of positive lenses and at least one piece of negative lens and that the 3rd lens group has at least one positive lens on the image plane side. The lens is so constituted as to satisfy conditional equations (1)-(3). Thus the compact wide angle zoom lens of high variable powers and high performance is realized. |
