PURPOSE:To perform an adjusting opeation efficiently by providing an adjusting circuit which drives an adjusting motor at a constant speed until a detected value reaches a desired amount before a set value, and makes it move inch by inch thereafter until the two values are in accord. CONSTITUTION:An operation of adjusting a register is performed by delivering drive signals to motors 27 and 30 for adjusting a printing unit 3 in the driving direction and in the forward-backward direction, and by displaying the position of a plate cylinder 25 in a digital display unit 4 by an ideogram + or - and digits on the reception of signals from potentiometers 28 and 31 for the driving direction and the forward-backward direction. Each of the potentiometers 28 and 31 has an intermediate point A and a movable part B being slidable in the width of a total resistance value, which are located at the point of the half of the total resistance. The movable part B is adjusted so that the difference in potential occurring between the above intermediate point A and the movable part B turns to be zero, the plate cylinder 25 i thereby set at the position of reference to the driving direction and the forward-backward direction, and both are connected by gear devices. |
