PURPOSE:To prevent a wound selvage from a rising phenomenon in taking up a thin single yarn sizing skein with high speed over a specified speed by providing a travelling yarn accelerator between a yarn feeding roller and a take-up traverse fulcrum guide. CONSTITUTION:While an extremely thin yarn 2 is taken up by a take-up machine 6 through a pulling roller 3, a yarn feeding roller 4, a yarn path guide 8 and a traverse fulcrum guide 5, an accelerator 7 is provided between the yarn feeding roller 4 and the traverse fulcrum guide 5. A hole 9 for introducing the yarn 2, an air conduit 10 and a hinge 11 capable of opening and closing are provided, and a holder 13 has a built-in air cylinder 12. When air is supplied from the air conduit 15, the accelerator 7 is constituted to push and close the hinge 11 so that the travelling yarn 2 is enveloped and accelerated by air from the air conduit 10 to provide T1>T2 to permit high speed take-up of the extremely thin yarn and prevent a taken-up selvage from rise. |
