PURPOSE:To execute high speed copying of a satisfactory picture quality extending over a lot of sheets, by transferring a toner image formed temporarily on a photosensitive drum, to a dielectric belt, and transferring and fixing by a prescribed number of sheets, when copying a lot of sheets. CONSTITUTION:By a well-known system, a toner image is formed on a photosensitive drum 10. Subsequently, the toner image is transferred onto a dielectric belt 30 which is positioned in the proximity of the photosensitive drum 10 and is driven at the same surface speed as the drum 10. In case of copying of a lot of sheets, the toner image transferred on this belt 30 is projected onto the photosensitive drum 10 again, and formation of an electrostatic latent image, its development, and transfer and fixing to a copying form are repeated by a prescribed number of times, by which a lot of copies are obtained. |
