PURPOSE:To prevent a product from generating wrinkles, etc., by providing an auxiliary blank holder which comes into elastic contact with the projected part of a work mounting surface to an upper die for drawing work. CONSTITUTION:When an outer slide 6 and a blank holder 18 fixed to it are lowered, an auxiliary blank holder 20 presses and holds a work blank material on a projection part provided to the work mounting surface of a die 1 firstly. When the blank holder 18 is further lowered, an elastic body 19 is compressed to perform formation while increasing the holding force. At this time, the work material is held strongly at projected parts 1a and 1a of the work mounting surface, so a product has no wrinkle. Then while the work blank material is pressed by the blank holder 18, an inner slide 7 is lowered and a punch 8 and a die 3 cooperate to form a recessed part in the center of the work. |
