PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which can measure easily the stop time of a press slide in a contactless state with high accuracy, by forming a reflection fringe of a light beam at the end face of a crank shaft, irradiating a light beam thereto to measure the period of the reflected light thereof. CONSTITUTION:A line of a light beam reflection fringe 2 is formed radially on the end face of a crank shaft 1 of a driving mechanism for a press slide from the axial centerline thereof, and the light beam emitted from a light source 9 is swept circularly by a light beam irradiating device 3 consisting of a rotary plane mirror 7 and an inrradiating plane mirror 8 which are rotated in one body by a rotating and driving mechanism 4, whereby the beam is irradiated to the end face of the shaft 1. The reflected light beam from the fringe 2 is detected with a light beam detector 11. At every one rotation of the device 3, the light beam is detected with a light beam detector 12. The time from the point of the time when driving force is interrupted to the time where the above-mentioned two detection periods coincide is calculated by using a measuring circuit (not shown), from which a press stopping time is determined. Said time is expressed by the quantity of the slip thereof and is displayed. |
