PURPOSE:To decide the write starting position regardless of the shifting speed of a magnetic recording medium, by detecting the contents of the data recorded in the 2nd data area and then switching the record to the 1st data area. CONSTITUTION:A read head 14 and a read/write head 15 are connected to waveform shaping circuit 20 and 21 respectively. The head 15 is set in a read mode before a card is inserted, and the read-out data is fed to a demodulating circuit 22 and an integration circuit 23 via the circuit 21. The output signal of the circuit 23 is supplied to the circuit 22 and an input terminal of an OR circuit 24. Then the circuit 22 delivers the read data signal and the read clock pulse signal, and these signals are fed to a computer and a read check circuit 25. |
