PURPOSE:To decrease the pressing force of a fur brush to a photoreceptor surface, and to suppress the occurrence of a toner filming phenomenon by setting the sum of the absolute value of the surface moving speed of a toner image carrier and the absolute value of the surface speed of the fur brush within a specified permissible range. CONSTITUTION:The peripheral speed of a photosensitive drum 1 is denoted as V1; a photoreceptor comes into contact with the surface (two dots-dash line) of a fur brush, whose peripheral speed is denoted as V2. When they rotate at 10cpm for transfer paper A4, V1 is 100mm./sec and when at 60cpm, V1 is 600mm./ sec; when the sum of absolute values of V1 and V2, i.e. relative speed (V1+V2) exceeds 1,600mm./sec, toner filming is increased abrutply, so a preferably speed is between 100 and 1,600mm./sec. |
