PURPOSE:To simplify a mechanism fitting a chain freely movably up and down inside a hatch cover panel, to reduce the production cost, and to facilitate the maintenance by holding a chain member suspended below the hatch cover invariably at the same level. CONSTITUTION:The end section of a chain member adjoining a sprocket wheel 2 is connected to the tip of a rotating arm 4 fitted to the skirt section 24 of opposing hatch cover panels 11, 12 through a horizontal spindle 5 so that the chain member 1 is held invariably at the same level. Then, the rotating arm 4 rotates the chain 1 around the horizontal spindle 5 in accordance with the up- and-down movement of the hatch cover 12 by means of a member moving up and down in relation to the hatch cover 12, for instance, so as to hold the chain 1 invariably at the same level. Thereby, the rotating arm is formed in a simple structure, thus can be produced at a low cost and can be easily maintained. |
