PURPOSE:To average power supply hours by a system wherein the required electric energy with respect to the hot water quantity intended to be used the following day is calculated by detecting feed water temperature. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic unit 6 calculates the capacity of heating element necessary for heating-up the hot water quantity intended to be used the following day within the range midnight power supply time based upon the inputted value of the hot water quantity intended to be used the following day to a hot water quantity setting means 4 and the detected value of a feed water temperature sensor 5 just before or after the start of power supply. In addition, a power controlling means 7 controls for the capacity of heating element to have the predetermined capacity obtained by the arithmetic unit 6. Owing to the configuration as described above, the power load can be averaged and the transmission efficiency improved and, further, various radiation losses are contrived to reduce. |
