PURPOSE:To eliminate hindrance to the automatic setup operation of all TV camera even if a fault occurs to any of camera regulators (ASU), by monitoring operation states of plural ASUs through a switching device. CONSTITUTION:A data transmitter and receiver 5 monitoring voltages EA and EB from cables 11A and 11B through a time-division switch 8B and when they are present, a switching signal is supplied to a switch control circuit 4 to connect ASUs 1A and 1B to TV cameras 2A-2C. If a fault occurs to the power circuit of the ASU1A while the ASU1A is put in operation to connect with the TV camera 2A, the voltage EA is ceased, so the data transmitter and receiver 5 judges that the ASU1A is faulty, and then sends a signal to the switch control circuit 4 to change contacts of a selection switch 7A. Consequently, the TV camera 2A is disconnected from the ASU1A and switching to automatic setup operation by the other ASU1B is performed at need. |
