PURPOSE:To obtain a loud speaker diaphragm which excels in the heat resistance and the humidity resistance with a large specific elastic modulus, by forming a sheet matter with lamination of the agglomerated mica on the basic fabric of glass fibers and then impregnating the plastic excellent in the heat resistance and rigidity into the sheet and giving the forming under heating to such sheet matter. CONSTITUTION:The micro mica flakes 5 and the agglomerated mica 5 or the mica compounded with natural pulp 6 are laminated on a substrate 4 made of fibers having a high elastic modulus like glass fibers, etc. Thus a sheet matter is obtained, and then the plastic 7 excellent in the heat resistance and rigidity is impregnated into the sheet matter. This sheet is dried and formed by a forming metallic die under heating and pressure at 180 deg.C-200 deg.C and for 5-6sec. Thus a loud speaker diaphragm 1 is obtained. Such diaphragm excels in the heat resistance, humidity resistance and stability of measurements with a high elastic modulus and with no fragility. |
