PURPOSE:To display the current position of a car itself with a position display mark, by providing fixedly the position display mark corresponding to the current position of the car itself on a projection screen and turning and moving a map, which is projected onto the projection screen, on a basis of detection signals of a direction sensor and a speed sensor. CONSTITUTION:In case that the user travels from a city A to a city B by an automobile for riding, a small block region 4d of a map including the city A is selected and is projected onto a projection screen 1. A microfiche 4 is moved in X and Y directions shown in figure by arrows and a stage 7 is turned in the theta direction shown in figure by an arrow to make the position of the city A and the traveling direction coincident with a position display mark 2. After the automobile is started, the microfiche 4 is moved said X and Y directions and is turned in the theta direction on a basis of detection signals of mounted direction sensor and speed sensor, and thus, the current position and the traveling direction are always displayed by the position display mark 2. |
