PURPOSE:To automatically switch two kinds of controlling modes according to the signals of vehicle speed and revolution speed in a controller by which a constant vehicle speed control is made when the vehicle speed is above a given value and an idling revolution number control is made when the vehicle speed is below the given value. CONSTITUTION:A position regulating mechanism 5 for the control lever 3 of a fuel jet pump 2 is provided with an negative pressure actuator 4, and the negative pressure chamber 4a of the actuator 4 is connected to a negative pressure valve 8, an atmospheric pressure valve 9 and an urgent valve 10 by a pipe 7. The valve 8-10 are controlled by a control unit 6 to adjust the amount of fuel injected by a jet pump 2. The outputs of a vehicle speed sensor 19 and a revolution speed sensor 20 are put in the control unit 6, and when the vehicle speed is above a given value, a constant vehicle speed-running control is made. Also, when the vehicle speed is below a given value, an idling revolution speed control is made during the idling period. |
