The invention relates to an arrangement for sealing the inlet and outlet slots in treatment devices for continuous material webs, in particular for suspended-frame driers, tenter-frame driers or the like, and aims to bring about in such devices a simple, operationally reliable and efficient slot covering which in particular makes possible optimum sealing of the slots with varying material widths. To achieve this aim, it is proposed according to the invention, to arrange next to one another above and/or below the material web a large number of sealing elements which together cover the widest width of the material web and in operating condition have only a small clearance or no clearance at all in relation to the material web. <IMAGE>
