An electrical switch for thermometers having a stationary contact on a setting pointer and a moving contact on a lever, the setting pointer and lever being able to pivot on a common axis, and the pointer of the thermometer acting against the setting pointer. A spring, which engages on the one hand on the lever and on the other hand on an angle fitted to the setting pointer, acts between the setting pointer and the lever.
