PURPOSE:To obtain a turret punch press provided with a die which is simple and high in turning speed, by turning a pair having directional properties among a lot of punches and dies provided on a turret, by an optional angle by driving motive power using numerical control. CONSTITUTION:In case when a die 27 of a long hole is positioned at a working center 53 and turns by 90 deg., the first intermediate gear 77 is rotated through a timing belt 73 by driving a servo-motor 69 provided with a brake, which is installed to a lower part frame 19. The gear 77 rotates the second intermediate gear 81, transmits its rotation to the third intermediate gear 57 by a timing belt 85, and transmits the rotation to a die rotating gear 87 provided on the side of the die 27. In this way, the die 27 having directional properties can be turned by 90 deg.. In this regard, by a shot pin 63 of a shot pin device 55, it is confirmed that the rotating die is holding a normal direction, by which the rotating die is held exactly. |
