PURPOSE:To provide a subject device which can normally achieve an excellent finish having no unevenness in printing, by a method wherein the device is adapted to control an ink feeder over the detection of a moving distance in an axial direction of an idler roller contacting an ink kneading roller. CONSTITUTION:Idler rolles 32a, 32b, and 32c having a number of convexities and concavities in a surface are brought into press contact with an ink kneading roller 26 reciprocating in an axial direction while it is turning. Microswitches 33a, 33b, and 33c are depressed by shafts of the idler rollers 32a, 32b, and 32c, respectively, and if ink on the ink kneading roller thickens, an ink with the microswitch actuated. Ink is fed to only a plate drum where the drum is short of ink. |
