PURPOSE:To prevent the overshoot of the temperature of a heating element by supplying power to the heating element not in 100% power supply rate but interruptedly for a temperature raising command during the non-printing time. CONSTITUTION:A turn-on/off signal obtained through a counter 18, which counts a prescribed number of clocks, and a temperature raising command obtained through a temperature detecting thermistor 10 are operated for AND in an AND gate 17 to control an SSR, and power is not supplied to a heating plate 16 in 100% power supply rate but is supplied interruptedly when the temperature raising command is issued in the non-printing time. As the result, the overshoot of the temperature of the heating plate which is caused through the heating plate 16 by the delay of response of the thermistor 10 or the like is prevented, and thus, the life of the heating element is extended, and a form left on the heating plate is prevented from being discolored by heat. |
