摘要 PURPOSE:To avoid the lowering of drivability by controlling the supply amount of alcohol on the basis of the temperature of a reformer and the supply pressure of reformed gas for preventing the pulsation caused by sudden acceleration or deceleration of an engine in an alcohol supply pipe. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid valve 4 controls the supply of alcohol, and an exhaust gas bypass valve 23 controls the flow of the exhaust gas to be supplied to a reformer. A controller 6 to control an air valve 21, a gas valve 22, and an alcohol injector 5 is supplied with signals from a temperature sensor 3, an operational amount sensor 7, an air-flow meter 8, a gas-pressure sensor 9, and a rotational speed sensor 10. When the temperature of the reformer is low, the solenoid valve 4 is closed to stop the supply of alcohol. When the temperature is higher than a set value, it is opened and closed in a fixed cycle in response to the output from a pulse width modulator 31.
