The dish has a base with a central cone (12) which has a rounded apex and is secured to the outer part of the base by a flat annulus (14). The outer periphery of the annulus is secured to an inverted frusto-conical zone (16) which extends peripherally into an inwardly curved flange (18). A separate upper part (11) fits over the curved flange and is in the form of a shallow frusto-conical section (20) with a depending flange (22') and an inwardly curved in upper edge (21) to prevent the birds from damaging themselves.
