Colour-photographic recording material contains, on a carrier in at least one silver halide emulsion layer or in a silver halide-free interlayer associated therewith, at least one DIR coupler of the formula <IMAGE> in which R is alkyl or aryl, D is hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, aralkyl, cyano or halogen, G is a hydrocarbon radical having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, the total of the carbon atoms in the substituents D and G being at least 5, L1 is hydrogen or alkyl, L2 is alkyl, phenyl or phenyl substituted by halogen, alkyl or alkoxy, acylamino, sulphonamide groups or carboxamide groups, and X is sulphur or selenium. The DIR couplers used according to the invention are suitable for improving the image grain and the image sharpness, for straightening the gradation curve and for colour correction in the interlayer.
