In respect of a mobile display table, especially for books, the object to be achieved is that of providing a mobile display table which can easily be moved anywhere and is universally usable. The invention achieves this object in that a supporting surface arranged at the table height and consisting of a frame with an inlaid glass plate is mounted on laterally arranged stands which connect the supporting surface to the foot part, this consisting of two bars running on rollers, arranged below the stands and projecting far below these on one side, and at least one transverse bar which is arranged at a distance of about one foot or more from one end of the bars between the stands. Such a mobile display table is extremely useful for the book seller: he can deposit his books on the supporting surface, he can move the display table wherever he needs it, and he can easily push it to one side and, at the same time, even load it with substantial weights.
