The invention relates to a full-section tunnelling machine, in particular for driving underground roadways with different cross-sections and profiles. In order to provide a full-section machine which requires less thrust forces, is easier to control and permits a lighter and energy-saving type of construction on account of the lower thrust forces, the invention provides for a rotating drill head (1), having a concentrically arranged starter drill (3), and several radially pivotable arms (7), articulated on the drill head downstream of the starter drill (3) in the axial direction and carrying roller drill bits (8) having a ploughing action, to be arranged in combination with a basic machine body of a known type of construction, the axial distance between starter drill (3) and roller drill bit (8) being so great that the pre-drilled hole (5) enables the roller drill bits (8) to engage. <IMAGE>
