The push button arrangement (1) comprises a support plate (4) for a number of buttons (3) arranged immediately over a seat (2) and a material (4'). The seat comprises an uppermost plastic layer (2a), under which is a steel sheet. Below this sheet is a distance piece with a hole for each making, and a card of gold-plated copper bronze. The support plate (4) has holes (5) for the buttons (3) which have projections preventing them passing sight through. To hold the buttons (3) against the support plate (4), a plastics on steel plate (4') is used. This plate can partly distribute pressure from a depressed button to the corresponding effect area (3a') on the button seat (2'), and partly causes the button to spring back. The distance piece used is a double-adhesive tape attached to the plastic or tied plate (4') which in turn is connected to the button seat. (Provisional Basic advised week 84/51) |
